When a customer calls in, our phone rep will ask a series of questions to help determine the pricing for the job we are quoting. In order to provide an accurate quote, its very important to be as forthcoming as possible. If we are quoting a carpet job, we'll ask to discuss ALL carpeted areas we are to service. We want you to be happy with our price and our service so you can brag about us to your friends, so please be prepared to honestly discuss your total needs. This way we can be sure we are providing an accurate quote. Naturally, if we don't discuss your total needs, our quote won't be accurate, and we don't want you to have any surprises when we arrive. Often times, things that other companies charge extra for, we can do for little or no cost if we are prepared for it and schedule our tech for the extra work. Or we might be able to give you a better deal if we know we have 8 areas to service instead of 4.
For example: A 4 bedroom house might include stairs, a living room, a carpeted dining room, and perhaps a formal living room or dining room. Rather than 4 rooms, this house would be 7 rooms plus the stairs (8 service areas). If we only know about the 4 bedrooms, our quote won't be correct. We'll ask if you have pets and do they have accidents in the house?, heavy or light soil?, is it a rental or foreclosure turnover?, how old is the carpet?, whats the general condition of the carpets?, etc.
We are very skilled in restoring old worn out carpets. Rentals and foreclosure turnovers are a speciality. But in some cases, we may suggest its a better value to get a free quote to have new carpets installed with an installer we know and trust.
Once we agree to a price for our services by phone, our service tech will arrive within the appointment timeframe and examine the areas to be serviced. Before any work is started, and before a single piece of equipment is moved into your home or business, we'll confirm the agreed upon service areas and our fees for the services.
The only time our price will change is if service needs are different than what we discussed by phone, as in the example above.
